Handang ipakulong ng mamamahayag na si Korina Sanchez-Roxas ang mga ‘online trolls’ na diumano’y nambiktima sa kanya.
Sa kanyang Facebook post nitong Lunes, Enero 17 ay sinabi ni Korina na ang mga nambabatikos sa kanya ay mga ‘bayad’.
Halatang gigil na gigil ang mamamahayag sa mga ‘trolls’ na lagi siyang binabatikos sa kanyang mga social media accounts at sinabi na sana’y intindihin nalang ng mga ito ang sarili nilang mga buhay.
“ARE YOU ALSO A VICTIM OF TROLLS? When I googled “memes of trolls” this image came out. Parang akma?” ani Korina.
“You know: yung pina-project ka para i-harrass—- kase, well, bayad sila. Their parents must be very proud of them na ang income nila is to inflict lies and misery on other innocent people. Poor parents who put them through school. And these kids get by hired by crooks who are just… EVIL.”
“Theyre usually hired and orchestrated by people who dont have the guts to just confront you and tell you what they think, to your face. Or baka kasi super inggit lang. Or bored sila and unhappy. Or obssessed with a person or an idea. Pathetic, really. Imbes na ayusin nalang nila ang sarili nilang buhay. Ang ganda pa naman ng buhay. I guess hanggang doon nalang sila? I hope not. I still believe in the good in people. But Ive lived long enough to know some people are just… INSANE.”
Nag-alok din ng tulong si Korina sa mga katulad niya na biktima ng mga ‘trolls’.
Nakikipag usap narin daw siya sa senado upang isulong ang batas na maaring magparusa sa mga trolls.
“If you’re a victim of online harrassment by paid trolls email me on korina_abs@yahoo.com and I will give you the tips how to put them in their place. There are administrative and legal remedies for this. Ipakulong natin sila. Hiyain muna natin nang todo bago pakulong. Im in touch with the Senate about this currently. Im on your side, being a victim myself. There’s a way.” sabi ni Korina.
“You can start by blocking all those who dont follow you and those who have just followed you. Anyway, lets chat in private. I can also advise you about the legal parameters. Let the devils stay in hell, right? Let’s put them back there.” dagdag niya pa.
