DISMAYADO! Retired Colonel nagbitiw sa grupo niya na sumuporta kay Robredo dahil sa diumano’y koneksyon ng bise sa CPP-NPA

Nagbitiw sa grupong Brotherhood of Christian Businessmen and Professionals (BCBP) ang Medal of Valor awardee na si Retired Colonel Ariel Querubin.

Ito’y matapos magpahayag ng suporta ang BCBP sa kandidatura ni presidential candidate Leni Robredo.

Sa isang open letter na kumalat sa social media sinabi ni Querubin na nabigyan siya ng impormasyon ng mga opisyal ng PNP, NTF-ELCAC at mga dating miyembro ng NPA tungkol sa diumano’y kasunduan sa pagitan ni Robredo at ng teroristang grupo.

Ayon kay Querubin ay hindi niya maatim na mamalagi sa grupo na sumusuporta sa kandidato na diumano’y kaalyado ng CPP-NPA na kumitil sa buhay ng kanyang mga kasamahang sundalo.

“As a soldier and a Medal of Valor awardee who has fought the CPP/NPA and a witness to soldiers who died in combat fighting the enemies of the state, I will not support a candidate who has alleged links with our enemies,” ani Querubin.

“Effective immediately and with deep disappointment, my wife and I are resigning as PSD Head and as members of The BCBP Quezon City chapter,” dagdag niya pa.

“Tithes are supposed to be used for evangelization and for the less fortunate and not to promote a particular candidate in elections. Please return the checks earlier issued for the tithes, from May to December 1, 2022″ 

Kinumpirma naman ng dating sundalo na totoo ang open letter na kumakalat sa social media.

Isa si Querubin sa mga Medal of Valor awardees na nagpakita ng suporta kay Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marcos Jr. ang mahigpit na karibal ni Robredo ngayong halalan.

Naging aktibo si Querubin sa paglaban sa mga rebelde, kasama na ang NPA.

Nakuha naman ng dating colonel ang kanyang Medal of Valor noong makipaglaban sila ng 24 oras laban sa 300 miyembro ng Moro Islamic Liberation Front noong 2000.
