Utak ng Droga? HNP sinabing ‘narcopolitician’ si Walden Bello matapos sabihin na sentro ng illegal na droga ang Davao City!

Naniniwala ang grupong Hugpong ng Pagbabago (HNP) na isang ‘narcopolitician’ ang vice presidential candidate na si Walden Bello matapos nitong tawagin na sentro ng bentahan ng ipinagbabawal na gamot ang Davao City.

Matatandaan na sa gitna ng pambabatikos ni Bello sa alkalde ng Davao City na si Sara Duterte ay sinabi ni Bello na pinamumunuan ng mga Duterte ang bentahan ng ipinagbabawal na gamot sa nasabing siyudad.

“Davao as the drug center of the south under the control of a member of a Duterte family. My god, this is something… we need to bring this out so that the people can examine the record of Sara Duterte,” ani Bello sa ginanap na Pilipinas Debates 2022 nitong Linggo.

Ikinabahala naman ng HNP ang sinabing ito ni Bello dahil tila tinatago ng kandidato ang impormasyon niya tungkol sa bentahan ng ipinagbabawal na gamot sa Davao City sa mga otoridad.

“Based on the claims made by Mr. Bello during the Comelec sponsored Vice Presidential debates on March 20, it’s apparent that he holds information about the illegal drugs in Davao but deliberately kept it from the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency and the Philippine National Police.” saad ng HNP.

“It can be said that Mr. Bello is a narcopolitician in a way that he withheld information crucial in the government’s anti-drug campaign.” dagdag pa nila.

Dahil dito ay hiniling ng HNP sa mga otoridad na imbestigahan si Bello dahil sa delikado kung totoo man na may koneksyon sa pinagbabawal na gamot ang kandidato.

“Because of this, HNP has already requested for an investigation into the extent of Mr. Bello’s knowledge and involvement in the illegal drug trade in Davao City.” sabi pa ng grupo.

“As a Vice Presidential candidate in a narcopolitics, as someone who knowingly and purposely refused to disclose information or cooperate with the authorities, Mr. Bello has just presented himself as a danger to peace and order and a threat to the anti-illegal drugs campaign of the government.” dagdag pa nila.

Sa ngayon ay wala pang tugon si Bello sa pahayag laban sa kanya ng HNP.
