Hinahangaan ng isang netizen si former presidential spokesperson Atty. Harry Roque matapos niyang mapanood ang mga sagot ng abogado sa isinagawang SMNI senatorial debate nitong Marso 2.
Sa kanyang Facebook post, sinabi ni Lao Janice na dapat ay maging senador si Roque dahil sa angking talino nito.
“I like Harry Roque na even before, because of his no-nonsense way of dealing with the press when he was President Rodrigo Duterte’s spokesperson. Pero that SMNI debate gave me a glimpse of his brilliance. Brayt kay ka Duy!” ani Janice.
“Harry Roque cemented his spot on my ballot. I was going to vote for him even before, but now, I will help convince people to do the same. If we want a better Philippines, let’s elect a qualified candidate. And Harry Roque is more than qualified.” dagdag niya pa.
Naniniwala si Lao na ang kailangan sa senado ay ang mga taong may alam sa batas katulad ni Roque.
“He knows Philippine Law. God knows how much we need lawyers in the Senate. We need more people know the law to craft better ones. Enough of lawmakers who don’t know what they are doing. Enough of lawmakers who are just to plunder our country’s coffers.
“He is also a master of International Law, so we can be assured that he will be able to help craft the right foreign policy that will help protect our country.
“Kailangan natin ng mga mambabatas na may puso. Hindi natin pwedeng kwestyunin ang puso ng mga tumatakbo ngayon. Pero, hindi pwedeng puro puso. Kailangan din natin ng UTAK. Si Harry Roque, may PUSO at UTAK.
Matatandaan na ipinakita ni Roque ang bilis niya sa pagsagot sa nasabing debate na nakatanggap ng iba’t ibang reaksyon mula sa mga netizens.
Habang may mga pumiri sa dating spox ay may mga bumanat din dito lalo na’t kilala ito na maka anti-Marcos na ngayon ay sumusuporta kay presidential candidate Bongbong Marcos.
Ngunit paliwanag naman ni Roque, hindi naman daw ang namayapang Marcos ang kinakampihan kundi ‘yung buhay.
